Quattro giorni nell’Olimpo della musica mondiale

Conto alla rovescia per Firenze Rocks, il più importante festival italiano, uno tra i più prestigiosi in Europa, che si svolgerà a Firenze alla Visarno Arena dal 13 al 16 giugno. Un immenso palco a cielo aperto che accoglierà un cast di grandi artisti internazionali per un evento straordinario che mette al centro la grande musica live rock, pop, indie, senza barriere di genere e che sarà reso ancora più unico dalle numerose iniziative che animeranno il “Firenze Rocks Village”.

Si parte giovedì 13 giugno con i TOOL nell’ unica data che segna il ritorno in Italia del gruppo. Originaria di Los Angeles, la band vincitrice di tre Grammy Awards, si è esibita in svariate tournée mondiali e pubblicato 4 album in studio che hanno raggiunto i vertici delle classifiche mondiali. Gli altri headliner ad esibirsi nella opening night saranno SMASHING PUMPKINS, DREAM THEATER, BADFLOWER e SKINDRED.

Venerdì 14 salirà sul palco la star internazionale ED SHEERAN per il primo dei suoi tre grandi concerti italiani che proseguiranno allo stadio Olimpico di Roma il 16 giugno e allo stadio San Siro di Milano il 19. Il tour mondiale, partito lo scorso 13 febbraio da San Paolo del Brasile, lo vede toccare 4 continenti tra Sud America, Africa, Asia ed Europa e terminerà con quattro show nella sua terra natale, la Gran Bretagna, a Leeds (West Yorkshire) il 16 e 17 agosto presso il Roundhay Park e a Ipswich (Suffolk) il 23 e 24 agosto presso Chantry Park. Apriranno la giornata gli SNOW PATROL, ZARA LARSSON e MATT SIMONS.

Sabato 15 giugno sarà la volta di un “mostro sacro” del rock contemporaneo: EDDIE VEDDER. L’iconico leader dei PEARL JAM torna ad esibirsi al Festival in cui due anni fa, con oltre 45.000 biglietti venduti, aveva infranto il record per maggior numero di spettatori paganti di tutta la sua carriera solista. Nella stessa giornata anche il vincitore del Premio Oscar GLEN HANSARD, che si esibirà prima di Eddie Vedder, NOTHING BUT THIEVES e THE STRUTS.

Domenica 16, saranno i THE CURE a celebrare la giornata conclusiva della quattro giorni di musica. La band inglese salirà sul palco della Visarno Arena per un unico grande concerto in Italia. Ad aprire l’ultimo giorno di festival i SUM 41, una delle band simbolo della storia del punk rock mondiale che torna in Italia dopo l’incredibile show evento di I-Days 2017 davanti a 90.000 persone. Anche gli EDITORS saranno sul palco: il gruppo ha pubblicato il sesto album in studio, Violence, l’anno scorso.

Four days in the Olympus of the worldwide music

The countdown begins for Firenze Rocks, the most important Italian festival, one of the most prestigious in Europe, that will take place at the Visarno Arena from the 13th to 16th June. A huge open-air stage which will receive a cast of important international artists for an extraordinary event that focuses on the live rock, pop, indie music without gender barriers and that the several initiatives, which will animate the “Firenze Rocks Village”, will make even more unique.

It starts on the 13th of June with the TOOL in their only date that marks the comeback in Italy of the group. Originally from Los Angeles, the band, winner of three Grammy Awards, performed in many worldwide tournée and has released 4 albums in studio which reached the top of global charts. The other headliners who will perform at the opening night will be SMASHING PUMPKINS, DREAM THEATER, BADFLOWER and SKINDRED.

On Friday 14th, the international star ED SHEERAN will get on stage for the first of its three important Italian concerts that will go on at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome on the 16th of June and at the Stadio San Siro in Milan on the 19th June. The worldwide tour, started the on last 13th February from San Paolo in Brazil, arrives in the 4 continents among South America, Africa, Asia and Europe and will end with 4 shows in his native land, Great Britain, in Leeds (West Yorkshire) on the 16th and 17th of August at the Roundhay Park and in Ipswich (Suffolk) on the 23rd and 24th of August at Chantry Park. SNOW PATROL, ZARA LARSSON and MATT SIMONS will open the day.

On Saturday, 15th June, it will be the time of a “sacred monster” of the contemporary rock: EDDIE VEDDER. The iconic leader of PEARL JAM comes back to perform at the Festival where two years ago, with more than 45.000 tickets sold, he broke the record for the highest number of paying public in his whole solo career. During the same day, also the Academy Award winner, GLEN HANSARD, who will perform before Eddie Vedder, NOTHING BUT THIEVES and THE STRUTS.

On Sunday 16th, THE CURE will celebrate the closing day of these 4 days of music The English band will get on stage of the Visarno Arena for an unique, amazing concert in Italy. The SUM 41 will open the last day of the festival, one of the iconic band in the history of the worldwide punk rock which comes back in Italy after the incredible show event of I-Days 2017 in front of 90.000 people. Also the EDITORS will get on stage: the band has released their sixth album in studio, Violence, last year.
