Dal 13 al 16 giugno il festival torna alla Visarno Arena. Eddie Vedder è l’headliner del 15 giugno

Sarà proprio Eddie Vedder l’attesissima superstar che salirà sul palco della Visarno Arena di Firenze Rocks nella giornata di sabato 15 giugno. L’iconico leader dei Pearl Jam torna ad esibirsi al festival in cui due anni fa aveva infranto il record per maggior numero di spettatori paganti di tutta la sua carriera solista (con oltre 45mila biglietti venduti).

Dal 13 al 16 giugno alla Visarno Arena di Firenze, il festival, giunto alla sua terza edizione, si prepara a bissare il successo delle annate precedenti che hanno visto convogliare oltre 350mila spettatori giunti da tutto il mondo e portato sul palco stelle del calibro di Guns ‘N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden e System of A Down. Eddie Vedder ha debuttato come artista solista con l’album colonna sonora del film “Into the Wild” nel 2007, per cui ha vinto un Golden Globe con il brano “Guaranteed”. Nella stessa giornata anche Glen Hansard, che si esibirà prima di Eddie Vedder sul palco della Visarno Arena. L’artista irlandese, noto come voce e chitarra della band The Frames e parte del duo folk rock The Swell Season, è famoso anche per la sua carriera di attore (ha recitato, tra gli altri, nel film premiato film “Once”).

Firenze Rocks si riconferma come uno dei principali festival europei in grado di attrarre le più grandi stelle della musica internazionale. Quest’anno saliranno sul palco della Visarno Arena anche i Tool (il 13 giugno), Ed Sheeran (il 14) e The Cure (il 16). Ma il Firenze Rocks non smette di sorprendere: saranno gli Editors a esibirsi prima dei The Cure il 16 giugno. La band ha pubblicato il sesto album in studio, Violence, l’anno scorso. Nel descrivere il disco Tom Smith ha utilizzato la parola “brutale” non solo per sottolineare l’aggressivo titolo, ma anche il sound duro e avvolgente.

It will be exactly Eddie Vedder the long-awaited superstar that will get on the stage in the Visarno Arena of Firenze Rocks on Saturday the 15th of June. The iconic leader of the Pearl Jam comes back to perform at the festival where two years ago he broke the record the highest number of paying audience of his whole career as a solo (with more than45 thousand sold tickets).

From the 13th to the 16th of June at the Visarno Arena in Florence, the festival, arrived at its third edition, is getting ready to repeat the success of previous years that directed more than 350 thousand spectators came from all over the world and brought on the stage stars of the calibre of Guns ‘N’ Roses, Aerosmith, Eddie Vedder, Foo Fighters, Ozzy Osbourne, Iron Maiden and System of A Down. Eddie Vedder debutted as solo artist with the soundtrack album of the film “Into the Wild” in 2007, for which he won a Golden Globe with the song “Guaranteed”.

In the same day also Glen Hansard, who will perform before Eddie Vedder on the stage of the Visarno Arena. Firenze Rocks reconfirms to be one of the main European festival able to attract the greatest stars of international music. Last year, the band has published its sixth album in studio, Violence. While describing the disco, Tom Smith used the word “brutal” not only to underline the aggressive title, but also the hard and enchanting sound.
